Production buyer

PV-Czech is growing and wants to offer the opportunity in buyer area!

WHAT WOULD BE YOUR DAILY JOB

• Place purchase orders to support production material and consumables requirements
• Transport management
• Communication with suppliers
• Monitor status of inbound deliveries
• Review recommendations from planning group and take action on order exception messages
• Present daily material status updates to cross-functional team
• Interface with the planning group to understand material requirements
• Work with Strategic purchase on price changes, supplier capacity, and assessment of vendor performance rating
• Maintain accurate part and supplier information in ERP system
• Propose and participate in continuous improvement activities in the purchasing team

WHAT WE WILL APPRECIATE

• High school or bachelor’s degree
• Fluent english (B1)
• Basic ability to understand basic technical documentation
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Buyer in a manufacturing environment
• Great verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with international suppliers
• Sense of urgency in support of production
• Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented
